"Extending the Heritage...
Preserving the past, Learning in the present and
Creating for the future"

HE pleasure of your company is requested at the 55th Annual IAMPETH Convention!  I am waiting for you with open arms to visit Rhode Island bringing with you all of your talents, knowledge, tools and toys, questions, and most of all your passion and willingness to share your experiences with the art of pen and paper.  I look forward to meeting those who have recently become members of our "family" and of course to welcome home all who year after year travel the country for this annual gathering.

I have a wonderful week planned with unique learning experiences both in the classroom and through our exertions together.  I hope you will join us as our work is based in the traditions of those who have long come before us.  As we travel back in time to view some of the masterpieces dating back to the 1700's, we also look ahead by continuing these traditions and sharing them with the penmen of the future.

So come with paper and ink, holders and nibs (especially those rare ones), watercolors and brushes, sketchbooks and notepads and get ready for a special week in Rhode Island!

Sincerely,

Sharon D. Eisman
