Learning Opportunities

Interested in learning calligraphy?

Our talented members offer a wide variety of classes for beginners through advanced students, both in-person and online.

Some suggestions:

When choosing a calligraphy class, each instructor may vary in experience, teaching style, class format, and pricing. For the best learning experience:

  1. Take time to review different instructors’ portfolios and teaching samples.
  2. Choose a teacher whose style and approach align with your goals.
  3. Investigate multiple instructors to compare class offerings and availability.
  4.  Consider learning the same style/skill from multiple instructors.

When signing up for a class, be sure you understand:

  • Pricing and what’s included (e.g., handouts, recordings, follow-up access)

  • Schedule and format (live vs. self-paced, one-time vs. multi-session)

  • Required supplies and prerequisite skill level.

Please note that all class arrangements are made directly between you and the instructor. IAMPETH does not endorse any specific individual and assumes no responsibility for any agreements or instructional outcomes.
